As we prepare to say goodbye to 2012 and hello to 2013, let’s take a look at what we’ve accomplished here at WMG Publishing, and what we’re looking forward to.

In 2012, we:

• Hired three new employees, including Allyson Longueira as publisher (that’s me!), Jerimy Colbert as office manager extraordinaire, and the ever-talented Jane Kennedy as audio director.
• Began a website redesign and launched this blog to keep our customers and stakeholders informed.
• Performed a major redesign of more than half our covers and reformatted the ebooks, as well.
• Added dozens of new ebooks and print books.
• Launched our first audiobooks.
• Held a successful Kickstarter fundraising project to launch the Fiction River original magazine anthology.
• Launched online workshops as well as adding new topics to our face-to-face workshops.
• And much, much more.

In 2013, we’ll:

• Continue with our website redesign as well as our cover redesigns and ebook reformatting projects.
• Launch a lecture series.
• Launch Fiction River.
• Partner with Ella Distribution to go direct to bookstores worldwide.
• Release plenty of new ebooks, print books and audiobooks.
• And much, much more.

So, there you have it. We had a busy year, and we have an even busier one in store. We can’t wait!
