Now that many of us are sequestered in our homes for goodness knows how long, the world’s feline population must be wondering what on Earth is going on. While a group of cats is often called a clowder, it can also be called a glaring. Right now, I think that name is more apt for some of them.
My cats are definitely more a clowder than a glaring, though. I have three of them, and they are quite pleased to have us all home. The only thing they don’t understand is why I spend so much time NOT making a lap for them. I think they are starting to plot against my laptop…

And here’s a bit of news to cheer you a bit. I read the other day (aka two years ago in Covid time) that the animal shelters in New York City had run out of animals. With everyone now isolated in their homes, many decided it was time to bring home a new pet. Now, that’s some happy news.
